25 Random Things About Me
1. I don't like bananas ever, at all. My sister used to offer me some of her banana milkshake, and tell me it was vanilla. I'm sure she would still do this if she had the opportunity. I do however like banana bread.
2. I'm clumsy. It's kind of a family trait. Fortunately I'm not as clumsy as my Mom. Sorry, it's true.
3. I trained our cat Nova to do tricks. She sits, shakes your hand, high fives, sits up, and plays fetch. She also likes to ride in the car. She will climb in the vehicles of people she does not know because she thinks they will take her for a ride.
4. Our other cat, Gizmo, is not smart. My attempts to teach his the same tricks have been unsuccessful.
5. I've been to the Leaning Tower of Pisa. I was amazed that it could stand like that.
6. I hate palmetto bugs, you know those big nasty roach things that you cannot get a ways from if you live in Florida? Fortunately I live in Arkansas where I've never seen one. My sister used to throw rubber roaches at me when we were younger. I've always tried to tell everyone I was the sweet one.
7. I've never broken any bones either, even though I am clumsy.
8. I majored in accounting and I now open new accounts at a credit union.
9. I get the hiccups A LOT. But always just one. These seemed to randomly start when I was about 16. Before that, I got hiccups like normal people. They seem to come more frequent now that I'm pregnant.
10. I went on a gondola ride in Venice, Italy. And it didn't come cheap. Fortunately Joy talked me into it. How can one go to Venice and not go on a gondola?
11. In the last 8 1/2 years, I've moved 8 times. I plan on staying where we are for a very very very long time.
12. I was born in South Miami.
13. I like stepping on leaves. I like the crunchy sound.
14. I don't like seafood, and I married someone that likes seafood less than I do. I do like to eat fish when my Grandmother makes it, but that's all the seafood I'll eat.
15. I once stayed in a monastery in Italy.
16. I hate to iron. I will toss my clothes in the dryer for a few minutes, spray them with water or something to help release the wrinkles. But I really hate ironing.
17. I can't roll R's. I never could pronounce things correctly in Spanish class.
18. I don't like gum.
19. I twitch just before I fall asleep. At least that's what Steve tells me.
20. I can't whistle.
21. I always play music in the car when I'm driving. Steve usually listens to talk radio when he drives.
22. I was voted the quietest girl in my high school class. They took my picture with the quietest boy in the library for the yearbook.
23. I like to get up early.
24. I grew up living 20 minutes from the beach, but I don't like the beach.
25. In Miss Baker's 4th grade class, we had to memorize the 50 states and their capitols. We learned a song that named the states in alphabetical order. I can still sing it.
